I began restoring Honda Dreams and hot rodding 2-stoke three wheelers, then moved on to Japanese dealerships as a mechanic. I grew bored with the ease of repair that the Japanese offered, and discovered that Moto Guzzi and Ducati Singles provided a field in which my talents could thrive. My queries of "Why did this break?" and, "How do I fix this?" Weren't answered directly, as those that worked in the venue rambled on with dreary stories of long past riding and racing exploits before entirely enlightening me. My work draws from my own past first as a restorer, then an engineer, a schooled mechanic, and years in the field of day to day dealership fixes. I've advanced, and now I control the quality of my output. My standards are very high. It doesn't matter if it's a repair or a used bike I resell; it's expensive for the very fact that I want to do my best for you. It matters to me. Have you noticed that it seems you cannot buy anything of ANY quality anymore? For any amount of money? Remember when a water heater used to last 20-30 years? Now they last 5-7 years! The old companies that made them went out of business, since no one bought another one. Especially since another company offered one for less without regard for quality and longevity. What I'm saying is, quality work still exists. Just now it's both cheap and crap - or - very expensive in comparison. It's your choice. Good work that will last, or a cheap fix that will do the job. It's only money - you earn it to spend it - your money.
